Nitbus

Nitbus won the Prize Agustí Comes in the Festival with the same name in Vinaròs (Castelló).

Some appearances in Spanish festivals (Filmets, Ourense, Madrid…) and abroad (Roma, Bolzano…) are planned in the next weeks, but we’re going to stop the blog here.  Nitbus worked very well in the short film festival circuit during last year, much more than we expected at first…

This weekend we’ll be at Huesca festival. Some selections more: Maremetraggio Trieste (Italy), Manlleu, Cinesul (Brasil), Split (Croatia)…

New selections: FEC-Reus, Contraplano (Segovia) and Fic-Cat. Besides Málaga presentation, FNAC is organizing a series of screenings of shorts in competition, including Nitbus.

Since last posting, Nitbus has been selected in the following festivals: Tres Cantos (Madrid),  FEC-Cambrils, Arrebufo, Creatrivas, Muestra Internacional de Palencia, Festival de Málaga and Viva Festival Manchester in the United Kingdom.

Also it has been selected at the “Fotogramas en Corto” festival. This means that can be viewed on-line, here.

The friends of Yelmo have selected Nitbus for the XI edition of Curt Ficcions Festival.

Some days without updating and selections arrive in groups of five…

Three in Spain: Festival de Cine Iberoamericano de Huelva, Inquiet 07 and Vilajoiosa (Alacant).

And two abroad: Foyle (Ireland) and Brest, one of the most importants in France after Clermont.

Another two festivals: Aula 18 (Asturias) and IKUSKA 2007 in Pasaia (Guipuzcoa), both in Spain.

Two selections, Benalmádena (Málaga) and the veteran (and prestigious) Alcine de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). Both screenings will be in original 35mm format.

Statistics:

1. It’s for the fifth (5th) time that I have one short selected in Alcalá de Henares, I’m afraid we are approaching some record.

2. With those two selections we have reached the 10th for Nitbus.

More selections. La boca del lobo International Festival in Madrid. The opening party will be next october 18th, c/Echegaray 11.

Nitbus has been selected for Panorama section of Festival de Cinéma Méditerranéen de Montpellier. Festival will take place from October 26th to November, 4th.
